The market remained bullish for the fourth session in a line as foreign investors and institutions continued to show appetite for Egyptian stocks, and were buying heavily on today’s session. However; Arab and local remained net sellers though.
CASE 30 Index closed 1 % up at 9151.2 points, turnover was significantly higher on today’ session as the market traded 168 companies at LE 1,684,970,664, out of which CASE 30 companies accounted for LE 1,168,190,898, where 13 issues dropped, one remained flat, and the remaining closed up.
Medinet Nasr Housing topped the Index’s winners’ list with5.23 % leap to LE 53.12. Telecom Egypt followed with 5.17 % hike to LE 19.32, ELSWEDY CABLES closed 2.83 % up at LE 114.02, Egyptian Financial Group-Hermes Holding Company advanced 2.46 % to LE 50.36, and El Ezz Steel Rebars gained 2.20 % to LE 53.03.
On the downside; El Ahli Investment and Development shed 3.25 % to LE 19.03, Housing & Development Bank dipped 2.60 % to LE 56.15, Egyptian for Tourism Resorts furthered losses with a 2.14 % dip to LE 10.06, El Nasr Clothes & Textiles (Kabo) shed 1.40 % to LE 2.11, and Alexandria Spinning & Weaving (SPINALEX) declined 1.34 % to LE 2.94 -1.34
On the turnover list; Telecom Egypt came ahead with LE 193,037,393, Egyptian Financial Group-Hermes Holding Company followed with LE 186,203,259, Six of October Development & Investment (SODIC) traded LE 89,627,627 and closed 1.84 % up at LE 201.05, Egyptian for Tourism Resorts traded LE 67,812,835, and Medinet Nasr Housing caem fifth with LE 65,394,837.
